PREP FOOTBALL: Bulldogs, Flanigan eyeing big season in Year 2

- Hanceville's Brandon Griggs goes through drills on Wednesday.
HANCEVILLE — Year 2 of the Craig Flanigan era is officially underway.
The Bulldogs hit the practice field this week during fall camp with only one goal in mind ahead of the 2017 season.
Making the playoffs.
Hanceville lost a couple of studs off last year’s squad — B.J. Smalls and Kaine Yates — but return more than enough to make some noise in Class 3A, Region 6 and potentially snare one of those four postseason bids that’s eluded the program since 2013.
Only time will tell.
