The Cullman County Farmers Federation presented $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors, who will attend Wallace State College in the fall of 2017. Winners were recognized at the July meeting.

Winners are Steve Lake, president of the Cullman County Farmers Federation; Lydia Haynes, president of the Ladies Federation; Olivia Benefield, Holly Pond High School; Rusty Yancy of Fairview High School; Luke Tucker of West Point; and Garrett Boland of Vinemont High School.

The Cullman County Farmers Federation also presented $2,500 scholarships to qualified applicants to a four-year agricultural college.

They are David Bice, Cullman County Farmers Federation Scholarship Committee Chairman; Trent Allred, Auburn University; and Steve Lake, president/Cullman County Farmers Federation.

Other winners were Seth Donaldson, Julie Glover and Payden Smith, all of Auburn University.
