Thunderstorm

A strong thunderstorm is moving through east and northeast sections of Cullman County.

The National Weather Service reports the storm may have winds in excess of 40 miles per hours
and pea-sized hail. Frequent lightening is also expected and anyone outdoors should find shelter.

The weather service began tracking the storm at 3:34 p.m. Impacted areas include Hanceville,
Smith Lake, Cullman, Good Hope, Dodge City, Baldwin, Vinemont, Garden City, Phelan,
and Walter.
