Two new teachers are coming to East Elementary and two others to Cullman High School when students return in August.
Hannah Shelton will teach fifth grade and Nichole Heptinstall second grade at East while Aaron Avery will teach math and Nohealani Naehu dance at the high school. The Cullman City Board of Education made the hires — and in Avery’s case, transfer — during its meeting Monday.
Avery previously worked as an instructional assistant at Cullman City Primary School. Naehu will work as a part-time adjunct dance instructor at Cullman High for two class periods per day.
Classes resume for Cullman City Schools Aug. 9.
