Cullman County Animal Control wants everyone to know we are aware of the alligator situation located in a local pond. We have been on scene and have made contact with the Department of Game & Fish Biologist in reference to relocating the animal. Presently the animal has not been a threat or caused any damage.

These animals are protected under Alabama Law, these sightings are more common than people think, they are native to Alabama and becoming more common in the northern part of the state. We advise everyone to not endanger themselves or the animal by trying catch or make contact with the animal.
