(Update) Troopers release more details in double fatality

HOLLY POND — Alabama State Troopers have released more details of a three-vehicle wreck that killed a young Cullman County couple on U.S. 278 Friday afternoon.
Rachael Danielle Kelley, 24, of Vinemont was killed when the 1991 Honda Civic she was driving collided with a 1993 Chevrolet Silverado driven by William Farr, 69, of Cullman, according to a Troopers press release.
Kelley and her passenger, Albert Matthew Waid, 24, of Vinemont, were pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers reported that neither was wearing a seatbelt. A three year-old who was riding in a child safety restraint in the victims’ vehicle was injured.
Farr, the driver of the Silverado, was not injured.
Three Fayetteville, Tennessee residents in a 2011 Toyota Camry also were injured in the accident. Driver Kenneth Bolton, 49, Skylar Bolton, 20 and a 7 month-old infant were transported to Cullman Regional with injuries, Troopers said. Both adults were wearing a seat belt; the infant was seated in a child restraint.
The driver of a 2010 Chevrolet Caprice, 41 year-old Jason Gooch of Birmingham, was not injured.
