Work is underway to replace the roof on Fultondale City Hall this week. The building, heavily damaged by smoke in a fire earlier this year, has been uninhabitable since then and is expected to require more repairs that will keep city agencies from returning to the building for most of the year. City offices are located at various points around the city and the police department is currently using the Tarrant Jail until the repairs can be completed.
