Dewel and Faye McGriff of Decatur celebrated 70 years of marriage on April 30 at New Hope Baptist Church in Holly Pond, with many friends and family in attendance, hosted by their four children, Billy (Marti) McGriff of Chattanooga, Joan (Edward) Polly of Florence, Vicky Richardson of Florence and Renee (Bobby) Greenhill of Hartselle.

The couple also has nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
