Jerry and Melinda Mason of Cullman announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelly Mason, to Christopher Thrasher, son of Barry and Myong Thrasher of Blountsville.

Kelly is a 2009 graduate of Cullman High School, and a 2015 graduate of the University of North Alabama, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in education. She is currently employed as a special education teacher at West Morgan Elementary in Trinity.

Christopher is a 2010 graduate of JB Pennington High School, and a 2015 graduate of Faulkner University, where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in criminal justice. He is presently employed as a police officer with the Birmingham City Police Department.

The wedding is set for 6:30 p.m. June 10, 2017, at The Lumberyard in Huntsville.
