Cullman’s girls soccer team fell to Southside-Gadsden 3-0 in a first-round playoff match on Friday night.
The Class 6A No. 3 Lady Bearcats finished the spring with a 15-6-2 record, which is the second-best mark in program history.
Coach Jacob Brown’s squad also set a record with 90 goals — 46 of which came off the foot of Abby Branham (also a school record).
“Overall, we had a very successful season,” Brown said. “It’s disappointing it has to come to an end in the first round, but we exceeded expectations. Nobody thought a team this young could achieve so much. The future is very, very bright. I can’t wait to see what they do when they are the same age as their opponents.”
