7 arrested for drug violations

Search warrants lead to 7 drug arrests
Agents with the Cullman Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET) investigators and deputies with the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), arrested seven individuals on several drug charges over the weekend.
Arrested for unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia was Roy Wesley Roach, 42, Hanceville. He made bond after his arrest, according to a news release from the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office.
Arrested for chemical endangerment of a child, unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia were the following: Christin Cheri Ayers, 31, Cullman, $1 million bond; Jesse Gene Golden, 21, Cullman, $1 million bond; Shelton Wayne Ramey, 41, Cullman, $1 million bond; and Bobby Dale Wilson, 45, Cullman, $1 million bond.
Arrested for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia included: Jammy Lee Guthery, 43, Cullman, made bond; Kyle James Shaw, 34, Cullman, made bond.
The Cullman Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET) used a search warrant on County Road 607 in the Phelan community this past weekend that first lead to the arrest of Roach. While at the residence CNET, investigators and deputies discovered multiple motorcycles with altered VIN numbers. During the search, investigators seized $3,400 cash, a gram of methamphetamin, two pistols and other drug paraphernalia.
In another separate search warrant on county road 1606 in the Berlin community investigators and deputies recovered a meth lab, two grams of meth and a small amount of marijuana. At the time the search warrant was executed two minor children were present in the home where the meth lab was found. DHR was contacted and the children were taken from the residence. All four suspects: Ayers, Golden, Ramey Wilson were arrested at the scene.
The last search warrant was executed on county road 397 in the Valley Gove community where a gram of meth was recovered from the suspects, Guthery and Shaw. Also recovered was a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
In all CCSO seized a meth lab, 4 grams in meth, $3,400 cash, 4 motorcycles, two pistols, marijuana, and other drug paraphernalia.
“I am most thankful we were able to get those two children out of that home with a meth lab. It breaks your heart to see children in that kind of environment,” Sheriff Matt Gentry said. “I would like to thank the CNET agents, investigators and the deputies for the great job they did on these search warrants.’’
