TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) — Outdoor retailer Gander Mountain is closing four stores in Alabama as part of a bankruptcy restructuring plan.

The Tuscaloosa News (http://bit.ly/2nfi39E) reports that stores in Gadsden, Mobile, Montgomery and Tuscaloosa are among 32 stores that are closing nationwide.

A company statement says the stores will begin closing in coming weeks, but it doesn’t give a date for the shutdowns.

The Minnesota-based company is blaming the closings on changing consumer patterns linked to online merchandising.

Gander Mountain sought Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization on Friday. The company has stores in 26 states.
