PREP ROUNDUP: Cullman downs Sparkman 14-4 for 6th straight victory; Fairview, West Point win county tilts

Cullman faced an early four-run deficit, but the bats more than made up for it during a 14-4 triumph against Class 7A Sparkman on Monday.
Trent Price (two RBIs), Wheeler Eastman (two RBIs) and Noah Fondren all had two hits for the Bearcats (7-2), while Owen Lovell clocked a two-run home run, and Ben Smith ended the contest in the sixth inning with a two-run single that punctuated a seven-run frame.

Lovell finished his night with three RBIs, while Smith and Caleb Lipsey (one hit) had two apiece. Carson Freeman and Carter Bowen secured one hit and one RBI each, and Grayson Taylor and Jacob Heatherly both contributed a bask knock.
Will Morrison scattered six hits, two earned runs and five strikeouts over five innings to nab the win on the mound.
% Fairview 14, Good Hope 4: The Aggies notched 20 hits to overwhelm the Raiders and move to 4-3 this spring.
Lane Schnittker (four hits and two RBIs), Scoot Bennett (four hits and one RBI), Preston Moore (two hits and three RBIs) and Truman Boyd (two hits and two RBIs) were the top contributors for Fairview at the plate.
Brett Garner (two), Ragan Ashley (two), Bryson Fletcher (two), Riley Carroll (one) and Clay Lanier (one) also came up with nice hits. Lanier, Ashley and and Garner each pitched in one RBI as well.
Ashley allowed one hit and struck out three in three innings of work to record the victory on the hill.
