Gardendale City Hall

The Gardendale City Council heard from two area residents on Monday night who complained about dogs running loose and killing or injuring their pets. The city and police chief encouraged residents to call the police and make a report so that the officers and animal control agents can take action and resolve those types of situations. Animal control is provided through a city contract with the Greater Birmingham Humane Society.

Gardendale Chamber of Commerce Director Anna Stokely and board members presented a check for $2,510 to the North Jefferson Women’s Center. The money was raised at the group’s annual banquet.
