Restrictions of water use have been lifted by the City of Cullman after recent rainfalls have restored Lake Catoma closer to full pool.

Mayor Wood Jacobs noted in a press release that Catoma is 9 feet below pool, which is high enough to life the Emergency Water Conservation Plan.

“The lake has risen with the recent rains,” Jacobs stated in the news release. “We thank everyone for conserving water these past few months. Now we just hope that the Lord continues to send rain and that the lake is full again soon.”
