A Berlin man is being held on a $1 million bond after he was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office reports.
Jeffrey Lee Cunningham, 47, was at his residence on County Road 759 when agents with the Cullman Narcotics Enforcement Team and the federal Drug Enforcement Agency used a search warrant in discovering 1.5 ounces of meth, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Office.
The meth was in a toilet when agents discovered the substance.
“I am glad we were able to work with DEA to get him off the streets and in jail,” Sheriff Matt Gentry said. “I would also like to commend CNET and the DEA on the work they did in this case.”
