Greg and Shannon Privett of Decatur announce the engagement of their daughter, Karli Brianne Nichols, to Mycah Tanner Posey, son of Howard and Trish Posey of Cullman.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jessie and Barbara Jackson of Cullman and the great-granddaughter of the late Elvie and Artie Nichols of Jones Chapel.

Miss Nichols is a 2012 Vinemont High School graduate and is currently attending Wallace State Community College in the Diagnostic Imaging program.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Hoyt Posey of Cullman and the late Henrietta Posey of Cullman.

Mr. Posey is a 2011 graduate of Good Hope High School. He is currently attending Athens State University pursuing a bachelor’s in Business Management.

He is presently employed as the director at Cullman’s Chick-fil-A.

The wedding is planned for May 2017.
