- Items confiscated in a drug bust near Holly Pond last week.
Three people are facing drug charges after local drug agents made a traffic stop on U.S. 278 East.
Agents with the Cullman Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET) arrested Corley Zane Black, 27, of Albertville, Samantha Marie Bouldin, 26, of Crossville, and Katlyn Richelle Johnson, 24, of Valleyhead, for possession with Intent to distribute a controlled substance, according to a news release from the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office.
CNET Agents made a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 278 east in the Holly Pond area Thursday on the suspects’ black Chevrolet Blazer and then performed a search of the vehicle. A short time later agents found approximately 15 grams of methamphetamine inside the vehicle, according to the release.
“It’s always good to arrest these dealers who are not from Cullman County who come here to sell their drugs. We were also able to seize the meth before it made it into our community,” Cullman County Sheriff Matt Gentry said. “I would like to commend CNET on the good work they did in this case.”
Black and Bouldin are being held in the Cullman County Detention Center. Bond is set at $5,000. Johnson has made bond.
