A West Point man is being held on a $1 million bond after he was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine.
Randall Lee Parris, 42, was arrested Thursday by agents with the Cullman Narcotics Enforcement Team. The was also charged with both unlawful possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, according to a press release from the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office.
The arrest originated on County Road 1142 after CNET agents executed a search warrant to search the suspect’s residence. During the search, agents reported discovering approximately 113 grams of liquid methamphetamine, according to the release.
“Seizing this much meth keeps it off the street and away from our community,” Sheriff Matt Gentry said. “I would like to also thank the CNET agents and deputies for continued hard work.”
Parris is being held in the Cullman County Detention Center.
