A Good Hope man has been indicted for the alleged murder of a local woman in late 2016.

Lawrence Walter Feldman, 47, was indicted in Cullman County Circuit Court last week on a single count of murder in connection with the stabbing death of Tracy Lynn Eby.

Eby, 44, died at a Chad Drive residence in Good Hope last November. An autopsy revealed she died from injuries she sustained after being wounded with a kitchen knife.

The Cullman County Sheriff’s Office took Feldman into custody shortly after the incident, originally charging him with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Once results of the autopsy confirmed Eby’s cause of death, Feldman was charged with her murder.

Feldman is being held in the Cullman County Detention Center on a bond of $65,000.
