The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) is investigating a scam targeting senior citizens across the state.

SBI agents warn citizens to be suspicious of callers asking for money in any form. Recently, victims received calls from someone claiming to be a grandson who was in financial trouble and requesting they purchase Walmart gift cards.
