FAIRVIEW — Sam Elrod scored 10 points, Luke Yarbrough and Tyler Ball tossed in seven each and the Aggies stormed past Vinemont 50-21 inside Joe Shults Gymnasium on Monday night.

Cameron Guthrie and Bryson Fletcher poured in six apiece for Fairview, which’ll travel to Hayden on Tuesday.

The Purple and Gold improved to 11-10 with the victory.

Corbin Barnett led the Eagles in scoring with nine points. Vinemont heads to Oakman on Tuesday.

Varsity Girls

% Fairview 58, Vinemont 11: Abbi Taylor amassed 22 points and 12 rebounds to help the Lady Aggies roll to a win.

Fairview (15-6) also received a strong game from Abby Schnittker, who had seven points and eight steals.

All nine Purple and Gold players scored at least two points.

% St. Bernard 41, Falkville 36: The Lady Saints edged out the Lady Blue Devils for an area triumph.

Jaden Edge paced St. Bernard with 16 points, while Emma Tafazoli recorded eight and Anna Meyers, seven.
