Cullman police have charged a local man with drug distribution stemming from a late December arrest.

Orion Austin Townsend, 20, faces two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance in connection with his arrest on Dec. 29.

Cullman Police Department (CPD) investigators Chris Thomason and Justin Craft arrested Townsend following “two separate undercover operations,” according to a CPD press release.

Townsend allegedly sold “high grade marijuana” to an undercover operator, according to police.

He was booked into the Cullman County Detention Center and has since bonded out of jail pending his court appearance.
