The Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament is once again offering free horse-drawn wagon rides to take in the sights of the church’s idyllic property, Christmas lights and nativity scene.

The rides are free but must be reserved in advance by calling 205-795-5722.

Rides last 20-25 minutes, with space for eight adult occupants per wagon. Complimentary coffee and hot chocolate will be offered at the Castle San Miguel.

Here’s the schedule: 1-2:30 p.m. and 4-8 p.m Dec. 20-23, 4-8 p.m. Dec. 23 and 1-2:30 p.m. and 4-8 p.m. December 27-30.

The Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament is located at 3222 County Road 548 in Hanceville.
