Repairs complete on broken water main that’ shut down AL-157 restaurants

A strip of businesses along Alabama 157 were affected Tuesday after an 8-inch water main broke on the south side of the road.
The break occurred around 10:30 a.m. but was repaired by 3:15 in the afternoon.
City of Cullman Water Superintendent Chris Freeman said the crew worked non-stop to get the water main repaired. Businesses affected were roughly from Kentucky Fried Chicken to Commerce Avenue.
