- Items found in a raid on a Cullman County residence where drugs and a meth lab were discovered.
Four Cullman County residents face drug charges after investigators confiscated liquid methamphetamine and a lab used to make the substance.
Cullman Narcotics Enforcement Agents charged Jack Albert Brown, 39, of Crane Hill, with unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and a probation violation warrant. Wendy Gail Brown, 34, of Crane Hill, was charged with unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, unlawful and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Douglas John Kuhn, 63, of Vinemont, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Gregory Eugene Turner, 50, of Addison, was charged with unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance and has multiple warrants from the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office and the Winston County Sheriff’s Office.
CNET agents executed an arrest warrant at the residence of Jack Brown in the Crane Hill community on Nov. 30 where investigators reported finding an active meth lab. Turner, who was at the residence, fled but was later located and arrested.
One day later, agents investigated a drug complaint in the Battleground community at Kuhn’s residence. After a search of the suspect’s residence CNET agents located 19 grams of liquid meth.
The arrests resulted in the seizure of 19 grams of liquid meth, a meth lab, a small amount of crystal meth, and a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
“I am glad the terrible drugs found at these residences are off the streets so they won’t be able to destroy families and people’s lives,” said Cullman County Sheriff Matt Gentry. “I would like to thank the CNET agents for their work this week in arresting these suspects.”
All suspects are being held in the Cullman County Detention Center. The suspects have a $1 million bond except Kuhn, who has a $15,000 bond.
