The Cullman Times Cares & Shares food drive concluded Friday with generous donations from many residents, including $2,102 from Cullman High School.
The high school students’ effort was led by the Student Government Association and the Leo Club.
A final total on the food drive will be announced later, but Javon Daniel, director of Cullman Caring for Kids, said large amounts of food will be stocked because of the donations.
“I know, just from what the Cullman High’s students have given, we will be able to purchase at least 12 skids of food from the food bank in Huntsville to help our families,” Daniel said.
