- Holly Pond coach Mitch Morris reacts to a call during last Wednesday's 89-70 tourney win over Arab.
The threat of inclement weather has wiped out all local basketball action originally scheduled for Tuesday night.
With Tuesday’s full slate — Lindsay Lane at Addison, Curry at Cold Springs (boys), Vinemont at Fairview, West Point at Good Hope, Holly Pond at Hanceville and St. Bernard at Falkville — put on hold, almost every area school will have three days to prepare for their next tilts.
Vinemont hosts Falkville on Thursday before all 10 teams in The Times’ coverage area hit the hardwood Friday night. Friday’s schedule is headlined by a county clash featuring Cold Springs at Holly Pond.
