Ken and Sandra Allen of Fort Payne announce the engagement of their daughter, Haley Elizabeth Allen, to Joshua Ryan Knight, son of Perry and Doreen Knight of Logan.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Wayne and Gail Shirley of Huntsville, and the late Marvin and Florence Allen of Birmingham.

Miss Allen is a 2012 homeschool graduate with Cullman Christian School, and a 2014 graduate of Wallace State Community College with an associate’s degree in applied science-physical therapy assistant. She is employed as a physical therapy assistant at Woodland Physical Therapy in Cullman.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Elaine Blankenship of Cullman, and the late Jacob P. Knight and Adelia Knight of Cullman.

Mr. Knight is a 2006 graduate of Cullman High School, a 2011 graduate of the University of Alabama in Huntsville with a bachelor of science in business administration, and a 2015 graduate of Samford University-McWhorter School of Pharmacy with a doctor of pharmacy. He is presently employed as a pharmacist at Southern Care Pharmacy in Hartselle.

The wedding is planned for 6:30 p.m. Dec. 2, 2016, at Seventh Street Baptist Church.
