Tony and Wendy Crider of Bremen announce the engagement of their daughter, Kaylin Kate “Ka-Ka” Crider, to William “Jordan” Tuten, son of Les and Paula Widner of Hanceville and Brad and Lisa Tuten of Decatur.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jim and Jane Rooker and Linda Crider, all of Bremen, and Grant Crider of Tampa, Fla.
Miss Crider is a 2012 graduate of Cold Springs High School. She earned her Associate in Science Degree from Wallace State Community College in 2014; and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Collaborative Education in May 2016 from Athens State University, graduating summa cum laude. Ka-Ka is currently employed at Cold Springs Elementary School as a Special Education Teacher.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Jan and Shirley Farley and William and Carol Tuten, all of Vinemont, and Wayne and Debra Widner of Hanceville.
Mr. Tuten is a 2012 graduate of West Point High School. He attended Wallace State Community College and is presently a student at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He expects to graduate in May 2017, with a Bachelor of Materials Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Jordan is presently employed with Boeing in Huntsville.
The wedding is planned for 5 p.m. Saturday, December 31, 2016, at Stone Bridge Farms.
