Tuesday marked another big day for high school athletes in northern Jefferson County. Nine seniors from Pinson Valley High School signed scholarships in the school’s fine arts facility on Tuesday afternoon. Representing Gardendale softball, Brooke Lyles signed her name to the University of North Alabama that evening at First Baptist Church of Mount Olive.

Pinson Valley baseball

• Jakob Box signed with Bevill State (Fayette).

• Rudd Mauldin signed with Bevill State (Fayette).

• Ben Miller signed with Lawson State.

• Blake Sisson signed with Lawson State.

• Shelton Clevenger signed with Shelton State.

Pinson Valley softball

• Destinee Cole signed with the University of Mobile.

• Hana Presley signed with Shelton State.

• Lauren Kiplinger signed with Wallace State (Hanceville).

Pinson Valley golf

• Caleb O’Toole signed with Central Alabama.

Gardendale softball

• Brooke Lyles signed with the University of North Alabama.
