Fullilove – Burks

Dustin Michael Fullilove and Haley Rena Burks were united in marriage on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at four o’clock in the afternoon at Seventh Street Baptist Church in Cullman. The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Tim Collier.

The bride is the daughter of Dan Burks of Cullman. She is the granddaughter of Charlotte Burks and the late Herschel Burks and is the granddaughter by love of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Howard. She is also the niece of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Burks.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Dahlke of Fairview, and Michael Fullilove of Fairview. He is the grandson of Bonnie Fullilove and the late W.A. Fullilove, the late Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Creel and Mr. and Mrs. James Dahlke.

Given in marriage by her father and grandmother, and escorted by her father, the bride wore a classic strapless Allure satin gown with a sweetheart neckline. Beautiful lace appliqué adorned the entire bodice, and was reflected in the A-line skirt, and finished the scalloped-edged chapel-length train. A beautiful lace-edged chapel-length veil of illusion completed the effect. The veil was a gift, handmade by a family friend. The bride carried a bouquet of long-stemmed white roses, complemented with baby’s breath, and was hand-wrapped with a white satin ribbon.

Ellissa Rylan Burks of Cullman, cousin of the bride, served as maid of honor. Amie Hill Veal of Cullman, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Haley Annette Partlow of Clarksville, Tenn., Nora Kathryn Henderson of Cullman, Steffany LaShae Means and Laklee Alexandria Shedd, both of Holly Pond. All attendants wore floor-length chiffon gowns in various styles and shades of pastel colors. Each carried a hand-tied bouquet of varied spring flowers.

Emma Grace Howard, friend of the bride, served as flower girl. She wore a white satin dress with tulle skirt, created just for the occasion.

Michael Fullilove, father of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Dylan Fullilove of Fairview, brother of the groom, Heath Golden of Eva, Brian Barnett, Neal Minor, and Braxton Heaton, all of Cullman. Draven Walker, cousin of the groom, served as ring bearer. All wore charcoal grey tuxedoes and black ties.

Ushers were Andy Fullilove and Jared Dahlke. Wedding programs were handed out by Kabri Redding and Lauren Hoffman.

Wedding music was provided by Lauren Elizabeth Burks, soloist.

Chamber’s Florist in Holly Pond provided all wedding flowers.

Joyce Hunter directed the wedding.

Photography was provided by Amber Black of Amber Black Photography.

Lee and Lauren Burks provided videography.

Following the wedding ceremony, a reception was held in Seventh Street Baptist Church’s Fellowship Hall. The hall was beautifully decorated and catered by Jana and Mickey Waldrop, owners of Cake-N-Eat it 2. Barbecue was provided by Mike Hays of Mad Dog Mike’s Famous Bar-B-Que. Cakes were made and decorated by Doris Patterson.

An after rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s family the night before the wedding at Grumpy’s Italian Grill in Cullman.

Following a wedding trip to the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee, Haley and Dustin will reside in Cullman.
