Disney’s “The Lion King” roared to life last weekend as Sacred Heart School students presented the lively jungle play at Stone Bridge Farms auditorium.

Under the direction of school instructor Rebecca Whited and with amazing costumes featuring giraffes, gazelles, hyenas, deer, zebras, lions and precious fluttery fireflies, the students rose to the highest standards of any musical ever presented!

Accompanied by the thrum of jungle music, students sang, danced and presented the story of a young lion who went from carefree cub to leader of the jungle and his many escapades along the way.

Aided by countless volunteer parents and friends, the students excelled in their performances of this favorite family classic. At the end of their final performance they presented Mrs. Whited with a bouquet of flowers and hugs and kisses as well!
