Early Wednesday morning, Gardendale Police responded to a call of a suspicious person walking near Snow Rogers Road and Sylvia Drive. Police located the man, who also fit the description of a suspect from an earlier complaint of breaking and entering a vehicle in the area.

On Thursday, Gardendale Police charged Graham Spencer Nelson, 25, of Columbiana with third-degree burglary, two counts of unlawful breaking and entering of vehicles, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal mischief and carrying a pistol unlawfully.
