According to a report from Fox 6 WBRC, the wreck that killed Pinson 19-year-old Cody “Big Country” Cole in April will see no criminal charges filed.

The 2015 Pinson Valley High School graduate tragically died 11 days after a head-on collision sustained on April 15 on Carson Road in Fultondale. Cole’s uncle, Jamie Davlin, was driving the vehicle when a car, which failed to use its head lights, allegedly drifted into his lane, causing the fatal accident.

According to the report, the District Attorney’s office has refused to file any warrants in the case, and Fultondale Police Chief D.P. Smith said it would be a civil case only. No criminal charges are expected.
