On the Job: 24 years, one year with Morris

Christian became an officer later in life, when he convinced his wife that this was what he wanted to do.

“I was older than most people,” Christian said. “But everything about it appealed to me. I say it’s more like a calling than a job.”

In 2010, Christian retired from Birmingham Police Department and took a few years off before joining Morris. He said his favorite thing about being in Morris is being on patrol and not being confined to an office.
