Fairview might not have beaten West Point for the county championship earlier this spring, but it did get the best of the Warriors twice on Wednesday to claim this season’s Class 5A area series.

One day after falling 6-3 in the opener, the Aggies evened the series with an 8-2 road triumph and won it with an 8-0 shutout.
