Police are investigating a fatal accident between a vehicle and a motorcycle on I-22 between the Brookside and Coalburg exits.

The identity of the person who died has not been released and no information was available on the condition of the others in the accident.

Various police and fire and rescue personnel responded to the scene, which closed that portion of the roadway for some time.
