Funeral services for Elmer Jackson, 90, of Lester will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2016, at Salem Springs Baptist Church, Ross Clemmons, Kip McKee and Lucky Teague officiating, with burial in New Salem Cemetery. Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.

Spry Funeral Home of Athens is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Jackson died Tuesday, March 8, at his residence.

Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
