A drizzling rain is expected to move into the area today, turning later in the evening to snow showers, according to the National Weather Service.

The chance for snow is 40 percent tonight and Tuesday, with some wind gusts topping 20 miles per hour.

Little or no accumulation is expected tonight, but Tuesday could bring up to a half-inch of snow under current weather readings, according to the weather service report. The low tonight will dip to 27 degrees followed by a high Tuesday of 35. The low Tuesday night will fall to 21.
