Sharon Heights Baptist’s Run to the Son race is Saturday

The annual Sharon Heights Baptist Church Run to the Son race will be held on Nov. 14 at 8 a.m. in Brookside. The price for registration for the 10k and 5k races is $25 and the one-mile fun run is $10.

The money raised by the run serves as a source of funding for local and foreign missions.

This year the funds will go to the help the church’s youth group travel to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota next summer.

The past two years, the funds were used to help build a church in Coatepeque, Guatemala.
