Just Keep Smiling celebrates 10th anniversary

Local nonprofit, Just Keep Smiling, is celebrating their 10-year anniversary this week with an auction and dinner at Gardendale First Baptist Church.

The event will be in the church’s fellowship hall on Thursday at 6 p.m. and will honor pediatric cardiologist Edward Colvin.

Over the last decade, Just Keep Smiling has paid numerous household bills, provided gas cards, fed approximately 2,500 people and families in need and paid more than $450,000 to assist families with assistance to allow parents to be with their critically ill children.

The dinner and auction will enable JKS to continue their work to help families with children suffering from serious conditions. Tickets for the dinner and auction are $25 each or a table can be purchased for $250.
