HOKES BLUFF — Drew Rogers ran for 148 yards and two touchdowns, but it was an interception by Tyler Boniella that was returned for the winning touchdown to give Locust Fork a 21-20 victory over Hokes Bluff in the season finale for both teams.
Boniella’s fourth-quarter pick-six, and the successful extra point, ensured that the Hornets finished their third straight season with winning or even record. Locust Fork tallied five wins and five losses, just missing a playoff berth.
Hokes Bluff finishes with a 2-8 mark, losing their last seven straight.
