Fultondale has advanced to the AHSAA Class 3A Super Regional Volleyball Tournament on Thursday, thanks to a victory over Midfield in the first round of the Area 8 tournament at Oakman.

Fultondale defeated the Patriots three sets to one.

In the area championship game, Fultondale fell to Oakman in three straight sets.

Fultondale will play in the first round of the South Super Regional on Friday at the Cramton Bowl Multiplex in Montgomery. Their first-round game will be against the winner of the Area 1 tournament, which will likely be top-ranked Bayside Academy.
