ONEONTA — Pinson Valley fell behind to host Oneonta early, but two touchdowns by running back Torrey Hendrix and a pair of scoring passes by Jackie Matthews led the Indians to a 26-7 comeback win Friday night.

After the Redskins mounted a long drive to score the game’s first touchdown, Hendrix scored early in the second quarter on a short run. Matthews later connected with Errius Collins for a 10-yard touchdown pass that put the Tribe up 12-7 at halftime.

In the second half, Hendrix took advantage of a muffed Oneonta punt reception by ending the subsequent possession with his second TD run of the game.

Matthews found Collins again later in the third period, this time from 50 yards away for the touchdown.

Hendrix finished with 79 yards on 18 rush attempts.
