Essie Mae James Lowe, 94, of Warrior, passed away on Aug. 3, 2015.

She is survived by her children, Respa Green (Jerry), Garey Lowe (Diane), Wanda Wiggins, Jackie Lowe (Lynda Wilder); sister-in-law, Marie E. James; nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and a host of extended family and friends.

Mrs. Lowe is preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn “Bo” Lowe; and siblings, Greely James, Curtis James, Vizella Hale, Erskine James, Clarence James, Burlie James, Cecil James and Sydney James.

Visitation will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Wednesday, Aug. 5, from 6 until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Thursday, Aug. 6, at 2 p.m. Burial will be at New Bethel Cemetery. Bro Gary Creel officiating. The family would like to give a special thanks to Mrs. Lowe’s great niece, Melinda Barnes.
