Weather: Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible again today, mainly during afternoon as peak heating occurs. Coverage is expected to be higher across the south, but development could occur areawide. Although not as warm today, it will still be uncomfortable outside with heat indices this afternoon between 100F – 102F. Isolated storms will linger into the overnight hours tonight.
Obamacare passes hurdle. The U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday ruled 6-3 that the federal subsidies that help nearly 6.4 million people pay for their Obamacare health plans are legal under the Affordable Care Act.
“Congress passed the Affordable Care Act to improve health insurance markets, not to destroy them,” Chief Justice John Roberts wrote in the majority decision.
