Update: Two men arrested after Tuesday car chase through Corner

- Curtis Lee of Dora and Jacob Williams of Woodstock, both 19, were arrested in connection with a car chase on May 19 that began in Corner and ended near Sayre.
Deputies have arrested a man who admitted leading them on a car chase Tuesday that started in Corner and ended near Sayre.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office got a tip that a man matching the driver’s description was seen at a house in the 6000 block of Old Jasper Road near Sayre. Deputies went to investigate, and found the suspect nearby.
Curtis Kyle Lee, 19, of Dora admitted to deputies that he was the driver of the Honda Civic that deputies chased. He was arrested on charges of attempting to elude, and was jailed in lieu of $6,000 bond.
A sheriff’s spokesman said that additional charges are likely.
Deputies also arrested Jacob Williams, 19, of Woodstock after the chase ended Tuesday. Williams was charged with resisting arrest, and released from jail after posting $3,000 bond.
