Hana Presley was 4-for-4 with three doubles and three runs batted in, as Pinson Valley demolished Shades Valley 18-3 in four innings, as the Indians began play in the Class 6A Area 12 tournament at Clay-Chalkville.

Destinee Cole hit two doubles that brought in three runs, and Lauren Keplinger also had three RBIs.

Keplinger also pitched all four innings, striking out three while allowing four hits.

Pinson Valley (-20) will now face Clay in the winner’s bracket finals, scheduled to be played Wednesday at 6 p.m.
