Joy Gray Hart, 73 of Trafford, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2015. Mrs. Hart is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Amon Gray, and Mary Kaley Gray.

She is survived by her husband, Curtis Hart; and son, Evan Hart.

Joy was a wonderful wife of 56 years, an unbelievably caring and supportive mother, and a teacher to so many students at Warrior Elementary School.

Funeral services will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, April 11 at 1 p.m. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Trafford Cemetery. Bro. Pat Melvin officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the Greater Birmingham Humane Society.
